Convicted Assaulter Failed To Return To Transitional Housing: New Hampshire Corrections
After searching for a job, Juan Rivera-Ortiz was accused of failing to return to the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester.

CONCORD, NH — An alert has been issued for a convicted assaulter accused of failing to return to a minimum-security transitional housing unit after a job search.
Juan Rivera-Ortiz, 40, was last seen around 10 a.m. on Friday after leaving the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester for a job search. The New Hampshire Department of Corrections expected him to return by 2:40 p.m. However, an alert said he failed to. Investigators, attempting to reach Rivera-Ortiz, followed a lead and were able to make contact with him. But as of 8 p.m., Rivera-Ortiz failed to return, the alert stated.
“The department encourages Rivera-Ortiz to turn himself in,” the alert said.

Rivera-Ortiz is 6 feet, 1 inch tall, and weighs around 240 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Rivera-Ortiz was wearing a white T-shirt with black shorts, and sunglasses, and was carrying a backpack when he was last seen.
Rivera-Ortiz was convicted of second-degree assault and was due to be paroled between October 2023 and October 2029.
