CONCORD, NH — A minimum-security inmate was placed on escape status Sunday after being accused of failing to return to his transitional housing unit. Theodore Brown, 32, was due to return to the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester at 8 p.m. but allegedly failed to. At just before 8:45 p.m., he was placed on escape status.

Brown is 6-feet, 3-inches tall, weighs around 245 lbs., and has black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his right forearm with the word, "Aaliyah," and another on his upper left arm that says "MOB." He was sentenced to up to six years in prison after being convicted of assault. Brown's minimum parole date was December of this years with a maximum release date of June 24, 2023, according to officials.

Anyone with information about Brown or where he might be is being asked to call the New Hampshire Department of Corrections Investigations Bureau at 603-271-1860, state police, or local police. If caught and convicted, Brown faces up to seven more years in prison.
