CONCORD, NH — A convicted drug dealer and minimum security inmate who was eligible for parole in October has been placed on escape status, according to the New Hampshire Department of Corrections. The state police are asking for help locating Dushon Waden, 40, who allegedly failed to return to the New Hampshire State Prison’s Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester on May 24, 2019. He was placed on escape status at 7 p.m.

Waden is 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighs 226 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes.

According to press reports, Waden was sentenced to seven to 15 years in prison back in 2015, after Operation Holiday Harvest busted 22 people in 2014 in the Upper Valley and western part of the state. After being indicted as a drug enterprise leader, he pleaded guilty to three counts of selling crack cocaine and a single heroin sale count. Waden was a resident of Vernon, CT, at the time of his arrest.
