Convicted Pennsylvania Drug Manufacturer And Car Thief Arrested On Strangulation, Other Charges In Concord
Angel Fuentes of Philadelphia was arrested after an incident at Salisbury Green; was wanted by Bensalem Township cops on parole violation.

CONCORD, NH — A man from Pennsylvania, previously convicted on drug manufacturing and stolen vehicle charges in that state, was arrested on a parole violation warrant as well as assault charges earlier this month after an incident at a Concord Heights apartment complex, according to police and court documents.
Angel Fuentes, 29, of N. Orkney Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was arrested on a felony requisition warrant on May 15 as well as felony second-degree assault-domestic violence-strangulation and simple assault, domestic violence-simple assault, and criminal mischief charges.
Around 10:30 a.m. on May 15, police were sent to Salisbury Green on Loudon Road for a report of a past-tense domestic violence incident. Police met with the victim, a woman in her late 20s, outside the apartment. She accused Fuentes of assaulting her earlier that morning. A check by dispatch found a full extradition warrant out of Pennsylvania for his arrest.

During an interview, the woman claimed Fuentes was “giving her a hard time” and was “mad because she was on her phone” and accused her of “texting other guys so they got into an argument,” the report said. They went back and forth for several hours, until around 2:30 a.m., when things started to escalate, she said. The victim told the officer she tried to leave, but Fuentes grabbed her shirt, put it over her head, pulled down her pants and underwear, picked her up, and put her in a room, so she could not leave, the affidavit said.

The victim said she attempted again to escape the apartment by saying she wanted to go out to her car, but Fuentes pinned her down to the bed, placed his hand over her mouth and nose to stop her breathing, the affidavit said. The victim passed out at that point, and he left the room, the report stated.
An officer checked the woman for petechiae — marks caused by burst blood vessels during strangulation, but did not observe any in her eyes or mouth, the report stated.
The victim attempted to get her cellphone back but accused Fuentes of hiding it. Later, though, he gave it back to her after things had calmed down, the report said. The victim started texting a family member for help, and Fuentes “noticed,” the affidavit said. She accused Fuentes of grabbing her hands and phone, damaging the screen, and breaking one of her nails.
Other officers arrived and Fuentes was arrested.
After being read his Miranda Rights, Fuentes said he could read English but struggled to write it. He also graduated from high school, according to the report. When asked his side of things, Fuentes said there was only an argument and nothing else happened, the affidavit said. When asked about the argument becoming physical, Fuentes denied it had and said the phone was already damaged before the incident, the officer wrote.
The officer confirmed the warrant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, County of Bucks, 7th Judicial Court, for a parole violation, issued on May 1 by an officer from the Bensalem Township Police Department connected to a receiving stolen property conviction, the report stated. Fuentes’ identity was also confirmed from a Pennsylvania state identification and an FBI file, an affidavit stated.
Fuentes was arraigned by video in Concord District Court from the Merrimack County Jail on May 18. He pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charges and was detained. Fuentes has a probable cause hearing on the assault charges and a case status hearing on the warrant in Concord District Court on May 28.
According to online court documents from Pennsylvania, Fuentes has been arrested several times.
In June 2017, he was charged with two counts of manufacture, delivery, or possession (of drugs) with intent to manufacture or deliver. He pleaded guilty to the charges in September 2017 and was sentenced to up to three-and-a-half years as well as probation.
In November 2023, he was charged with receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor/other vehicles in Bensalem. He was held on a $35,000 bond for a month. In June 2024, Fuentes reached a negotiated guilty plea on the charges, with time served of 23 months and $884.68 in restitution.
In January 2024, Fuentes was charged with driving without a license in Philadelphia and pleaded guilty.
The court accused him of failing to pay restitution and owed thousands of dollars in fees as of May 14. Fuentes was accused of failing to appear at a probation-parole violation hearing on May 1, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
