Convicted Welfare Fraudster Is Wanted On A Probation Violation

CONCORD, NH — This week’s District of New Hampshire - New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force Fugitive of the Week is a convicted welfare fraudster and thief who is wanted for an alleged probation violation. U.S. Marshals are asking for the public’s help finding Kim Wheeler, 48, after a warrant was issued for her arrest on Nov. 16, 2017, out of U.S. District Court. Wheeler is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 216 lbs.

She has blue eyes, brown hair, and numerous tattoos, including a heart with a rose on her chest, Winnie the Pooh on her left ankle, and Tribal with a heart on her right ankle. Deputy Marshal Brandon Wilson of the U.S. Marshals Service also noted that Wheeler had been known to use the aliases “Kim White,” “Kim Robinson,” and “Kim Caron,” according to an alert.

“Wheeler was on probation for a fraud conviction in 2015,” he noted. “Wheeler has ties to the Pembroke area.”

Wheeler, who previously resided in Allenstown, received Social Security disability benefits, food stamps, and Medicare benefits – more than $68,000 – beginning in 2005 while concealing her husband’s residence and support payments from officials. She pleaded guilty to the fraud and theft charges in April 2016, according to a post on Patch last year.
