According to reports, officers were called to the Makris Lobster and Steak House for a report of an accident. When they arrived, a New Hampshire State Police trooper already had a driver in custody, Paige, because he was allegedly “yelling in the middle of the road” after the crash between a Chevrolet Impala and GMC Sierra and wouldn’t stop when requested.
“Paige fought with the TFC so he was arrested,” a court affidavit stated.

The reporting officer spoke with two witnesses who were driving in separate cars southbound on the road behind a third vehicle, the Sierra. Both drivers estimated they were going around 45 mph. They stated that the Impala “came westerly out of the Lobster Pool and drove into the GMC,” according to the report.
“It forced the GMC to roll over to where I saw it and the Chevy continued westerly off the road,” according to the officer.
The driver of the Sierra, a man, was on the ground and later, transported to Concord Hospital by Concord Fire and Rescue teams.
Paige, who did not appear to be injured, was allegedly yelling and swearing throughout the investigation. When the officer spoke to him and said he was investigating the situation, Paige reportedly started yelling at him directly.
“It wasn’t an accident,” Paige allegedly screamed. “I did it on purpose! That guy has been trying to kill me.”
Paige was allegedly not cooperative at the scene and was taken to the hospital to be evaluated with the state trooper.
While investigating the crash scene, the officer reported that there were tire marks on the pavement in the parking lot of the restaurant and it appeared that the Chevrolet “accelerated rapidly as it came out of the lot” and struck the GMC. The Impala lost most of its front end and it came to a stop west of the southbound side of the road. The Sierra had a dent on the left front door where the Impala, according to the report, struck it. The vehicle was on its roof on the side of the road.
The reporting officer later went to Concord Hospital to speak to the driver of the Sierra about the incident, who was being treated for a broken left collar bone as well as a cut on his forehead. He told the officer that he was driving southbound at about 40 mph when he was struck. As he was climbing out of his vehicle, Paige allegedly came up to him and started yelling at him about not telling anyone about the accident.
“(The victim) said he had never seen Paige before this incident,” according to the officer.
Paige was reportedly sedated at the hospital and allegedly refused to speak with the reporting officer about the incident.
“The tire marks, debris in the road, and positions of the vehicles were consistent with the accounts given,” according to the report, so a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Officers later went to Concord Hospital and arrested Paige. He was held on $10,000 cash bail and arraigned the next day.
Paige, according to online records, has been arrested a number of times during the last 20 years, including for allegedly setting his own house on fire in 2013 on Downing Street. He was convicted of simple assault and criminal trespassing in July 1993, as well as drug, aggravated felonious sexual assault and an attempted sexual assault in November 1998, on a victim under 13. Paige was also convicted of a violation of terms of probation and parole in 2000 and on a duty to report charge in May 2004.
