Counselors Will Be At Concord High Sunday After Student Slain In RI

CONCORD, NH — Concord High School will be open on Sunday, with counselors available, after a student was killed in Rhode Island on Saturday.

Isiah Rosario, a freshman at the school, was shot and killed outside a Providence, Rhode Island, housing project early Saturday morning. He was 15. Administrators at CHS said Rosario moved to the city toward the end of the 2021-2022 school year.

“This tragic news obviously deeply affects all members of the Concord community, but most especially Isiah's peers,” administrators said in a statement to parents and students. “Consequently, the high school will have counselors — for students and adults — available Sunday beginning at 11 a.m.”

Anyone needing to meet with a counselor can enter through the school’s main entrance.
