Creative Dance Workshop Hosts Open House to Introduce RD Custom Fitness FLEX Classes

New Series of Exercise Classes for Seniors begins July 6 at CDW; Tours and Registration Help Available at Open House on June 17, 11am - 1pm

RD Custom Fitness will host a Registration Open House at Creative Dance Workshop of Bow, on Wednesday, June 17, from 11am to 1pm. All are welcome to tour CDW and to learn about RDCF’s training and exercise classes, including the new series of FLEX classes that will start on July 6.

CDW has long been the site for RDCF’s exercise and fitness offerings, which will now include FLEX classes specifically designed for senior participants. The first class in the FLEX series is ”Cardio & Strength,” a 45-minute work-out that combines a variety of exercises to help increase cardio endurance while strengthening muscle.

Rhonda Duhamel, principal trainer and instructor for RDCF, says the Open House is meant to not only launch the new classes, but also to introduce her many clients all over the Concord area to her new permanent home at CDW. “It’s wonderful to be able to work out in such a well-equipped and comfortable facility, with free parking, helpful staff, and a multi-generational approach to fitness. Being less than three miles south of Bow Junction and right on Route 3A encourages us that we’ll see new participants not only from Concord, but also nearby Hooksett, Suncook, Pembroke, and surrounding towns.”

RDCF staff will be on hand at the Open House to answer questions and assist guests in determining whether their insurance includes benefits that will pay for part or all of the class fees. Several New Hampshire Health Plan Providers have Medicare plans that will pay for as many Silver Sneakers offerings, including FLEX classes, as their members wish to take. They include Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Humana, and United Healthcare®. In addition, many other plans will reimburse their members for part or all of the fees for approved exercise programs like FLEX. Visitors to the Open House are encouraged to bring their insurance cards along if they would like RDCF to help them find out whether their plans include such benefits.

Anyone without such benefits will pay a flat $20 per calendar month for three classes per week, payable by the 20th of the month preceding the month for which payment is being made. Checks are payable to Creative Dance Workshop, which also accepts credit cards.
