CRIME LOG: Hopkinton Man, Currently in Jail, Faces Faces New Theft Charge
Plus, Loudon couple who allegedly stole machete, Shakira CD face more charges.

Herbert N. Thibeault, 50, a homeless man now located in Concord, received a summons at 1 p.m. on July 24, on a passing of items to or from the occupant of a motor vehicle, a violation. Thibeault had “been warned several times” not to step into the street to received donations in the past. At I-93’s Exit 14 southbound off-ramp, he allegedly stepped into traffic and later, received a summons. “I am just trying to make a living,” he reportedly stated. Thibeault had a court date on Aug. 25.
Thomas Robert Sargent, 66, of Branch Turnpike in Concord, was arrested at 11:34 p.m. on July 25, on two driving while intoxicated charges. An officer and sergeant were at a call on North Main near Storrs Street when a report came across from dispatch about a motor vehicle complaint involving an elderly man who stumbled out of Castro’s Back Room on Depot Street and then, fell to the ground. The man entered a Volvo and drove away. The officer caught up to the vehicle on Loudon Road and observed it cross over the divided white center line and the fog line repeatedly. The vehicle was pulled over at the Colebrook Bank on Loudon Road. The man, Sargent, allegedly spoke with slurred speech but denied drinking. “I asked Sargent if he knew that he had any lane control issues,” the officer wrote. “Sargent gave me a blank state and did not respond.” He allegedly stated that he was a diabetic and had low blood sugar. Sargent agreed to perform a field sobriety test and was arrested. He had a court date on Aug. 11.
Shaine A. Beaulieu, 20, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. on July 26, on a simple assault charge at The Friendly Kitchen on July 24. He is due in court on Sept. 8.

Chad E. Owen, 23, of Staniels Road in Loudon, was arrested at 8:20 p.m. on July 26, on a theft charge. Addie B. Philbrick, 22, of Staniels Road in Loudon, was arrested on a criminal liability for the conduct of another. The cases involved an alleged incident at Walmart on July 11. They are due in court on Sept. 8.
Donald R. Tessier, 67 of Bernice in Leominster, MA, was arrested at 10:43 a.m. on July 28, on a simple assault charge on Dawn Drive on June 22. Tessier had a court date on Aug. 25.

Dennis J. Faugno, 63, of Flagg Road in Loudon received a summons at 12:54 p.m. on Aug. 1, on a failure of entering traffic to yield on June 7, at the Makris Lobster & Steak House on Sheep Davis Road. He had a court date on Aug. 1.
Michael Miller, 23, of Dunklee Street in Concord, was arrested at 3:35 p.m. on Aug. 1, on a bench warrant. He’s due in court on Sept. 9.
Derek S. Wright (picture), 26, of Maple Street in Hopkinton, was arrested at 7:33 p.m. on Aug. 1, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge at Sanel Auto Parts on South Main Street from April 18. The victim in the case was Forc5Automotive.com. Wright was served with the warrant at the Merrimack County House of Corrections and had a court date on Aug. 4.
Casey Elizabeth Barker, 26, of Wellington Way in Pembroke, was arrested at 10:50 a.m. on Aug. 2, on driving after revocation or suspension and traffic control devices charges from Dec. 17, 2013, on North State Street. She’s due in court on Sept. 8.
Dawn Dragon, 45, of Winter Street in Laconia, was arrested at 7 p.m. on Aug. 2, on bench warrants. An officer was sent to Loudon Road to serve a warrant to Dragon who was staying at her mother’s home. The warrants were for a willful concealment and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charges out of Concord District Court on Feb. 4, with $774 cash to settle. She had a court date on Aug. 28.
