Stephanie Zinser, co-owner of True Brew and a board member of Intown Concord, said, “There’s nothing like a fun outdoor show to bring people together, and we love hosting live music in the square because it brings people and a liveliness that you don’t see every day. Chris Peters is a fan favorite here, and it’s a rare treat for October Sons to come together and play this benefit,” she noted. “People Skills has played at True Brew a number of times, and they have a great following in Concord. We hope everybody will come out for some great music, and to support everything that Intown Concord does in the downtown community.”
October Sons formed in 1999; the Concord-based band has released three albums and played some 450 shows. Band members are Chris Peters, Jason Lane, Brenden Harisiades, and Andy Beale. They play a fantastic live mix of original rock, rockabilly/country, and alternative songs.
