Downtown Concord Snow Removal Parking Ban Issued For Jan. 24

If you park your vehicle on these streets, you'll need to move them before 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday.

CONCORD, NH — The city of Concord has declared a parking ban for downtown.

The parking ban was issued so Concord General Services could remove snow from downtown streets and sidewalks before the next storm, scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.

The parking ban will last from 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24, to 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25.

“Cars not removed from streets in this area can impede snow removal,” the alert stated. “Violators of the parking ban are subject to receiving a ticket and being towed by Concord police.”

During the parking ban, city garages will be free. Downtown residents can park their vehicles from 7 p.m. tonight until 8 a.m. tomorrow in the permit-lease spaces and 9 a.m. for metered spaces at the School Street, State Street, and Storrs Street parking garages.
