CONCORD, NH — Concord has issued a “winter maintenance parking ban” for downtown from Wednesday night to Thursday morning.

Between 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, and 7 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, no on-street parking will be allowed on the designated streets on the accompanying map so the general services department can clear the streets and sidewalks downtown of snow.

Free parking is available at three city garages from 7 p.m. on Wednesday to 8 a.m. on permit-lease spaces and metered spaces until 9 a.m. on Thursday. Garages are located on School Street (the Durgin Block Garage), North State Street (the Firehouse Block Garage), and Storrs Street (formerly known as the Capital Commons Garage).
