Dozens Of New Hampshire Fugitives Captured During Operation May-Day Sweep: Follow-Up
Ashley Seleen Hodgdon, 24 other "violent fugitives," and 9 others were arrested in Hillsborough County during the 48-hour initiative.

CONCORD, NH — Ashley Seleen Hodgdon is behind bars again.
The New Hampshire Department of Corrections fugitive of the week from early April, who has been featured twice by the corrections, was arrested in Manchester on parole violations late last month. Hodgdon was out on parole after being convicted of second-degree assault and bodily injury to a child under 13 in Rockingham County.
According to investigators, on May 30, probation parole officers in Manchester, as well as corrections investigators, worked with the Manchester Police Special Enforcement Division and Anti-Crime Unit, Hillsborough County Sheriff's Street Crimes Taskforce, and the U.S. Marshal Service in an effort called “Operation May-Day.”

The operation, officials said, “targeted individuals with outstanding warrants for violent offenses or who are under supervision for underlying violent convictions and continue to engage in similar conduct in the community.”
During the sweep, Hodgdon was seen with others known to law enforcement in the Union Street and Valley Street area of the Queen City, a report stated. When questioned, she was accused of providing “several” false names and birth dates. However, Hodgdon was “quickly confirmed” by probation parole officers, who arrested her on the warrant, a report said. She was taken to the state women’s prison without incident, officials stated.

Another 24 “violent fugitives” were apprehended during Operation May-Day. Another seven people, labeled “collateral arrests,” at various locations around the city, were also arrested. Two others were also picked up by probation parole officers, a report stated.
Corrections thanked Manchester police, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Marshals for collaborating with them on the effort.
