Drivers Involved In 4-Vehicle Crash On Interstate 93

The high-speed lane of the southbound side of the highway in Concord was closed for about an hour.

CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire State Police and Concord fire and rescue teams were sent to Interstate 93 Sunday for a four-vehicle accident.

The crash was first reported at 5:50 p.m. near Exit 17 in Concord on the southbound side of the highway during the mad dash of tourists from the Lakes Region and North Country heading home for the weekend.

A few minutes later, firefighters found out the crash was between the ramps of Exit 17, requiring them to travel north on I-93 toward Canterbury and then, turn around on an emergency connector.
