Drug Sale-Death Resulting Suspect Wanted On Probation Violation: New Hampshire Corrections

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is asking for the public’s help finding a known felon with a lengthy criminal history who was recently indicted in a drug sales and death resulting charges in Belknap County.

Hector Lito Rodriguez is 29, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and 210 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair, which was recently tinted red. Rodriguez also sometimes uses the alias “Lito Rodriguez,” according to NH DOC investigators.

“The defendant is wanted for a probation violation, with his underlying offense (being) receiving stolen property,” the corrections department said in an alert.

Rodriguez was indicted on controlled drug sale and death-resulting counts in early May. Officials said he had not been convicted on the charges.

Rodriguez has ties to the Concord, the village of Penacook, and Manchester areas. He may be associating with a street gang, officials said.

“Rodriguez has a history of illicit drug use as well as alcohol abuse,” according to the alert.

According to superior court records, Rodriguez has several active cases and a criminal history dating back to 2015.

Rodriguez was accused of burglary and theft by unauthorized taking after being accused of stealing gift cards and other items from the former New Hampshire Department of Transportation building being used by Operation Santa Claus, the state employee association needy child charity effort. He pleaded guilty to both charges.

In 2016, he was accused of theft in Salem, a case that was nolle prossed later, and drug possession charges in Allenstown, where he pleaded guilty to a single count. Rodriguez was also accused of a contraband charge in Boscawen at the county jail and pleaded guilty in 2017.

In 2017, he pleaded guilty to a drug charge and a license violation out of Concord. Rodriguez was also accused of theft, credit card fraud, and falsifying physical evidence, based on two cases in Manchester, and pleaded guilty to two theft charges in May 2018.

Rodriguez was charged with drug dealing and possession in Allenstown and felony theft in Concord in 2019 and pleaded guilty to the theft and drug possession charges.

In May 2021, he was charged with habitual offender and speeding after an incident in Canterbury, which he pleaded guilty to later.

Rodriguez was charged with habitual offender, drug possession, receiving stolen property, felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, and other charges after an incident in Hooksett in July 2022. Also in July 2022, he was also accused of habitual offender and conduct after an accident in Pittsfield and a contraband charge in Boscawen. In August 2022, he was arrested in Belmont on drug possession and habitual offender charges. In February, Rodriguez was given a plea deal in drug court on all the 2022 charges. But he was accused later of violation of probation in May, a case which is still active.

The drug sale-death resulting and drug sale charges occurred in Laconia in January 2022. He was charged in April and failed to appear at a dispositional conference and motion to revoke bail hearings. Rodriguez was also accused of habitual offender and reckless operation in Hooksett in May. That case is also active.

Investigators are looking for leads to find Rodriguez. Anyone with information was asked to call the NH DOC at 603-271-1804, the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Department at 603-796-6600, or your local police department.
