Elderly Driver Taken To Concord Hospital After Mountain Road Rollover
Watch: Concord police are investigating a single-vehicle crash near Farmwood Road on Tuesday night that injured an elderly man.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating a rollover crash on Mountain Road Tuesday night.
Just after 8:15 p.m., police and Concord fire and rescue teams began receiving reports of a crash near Farmwood Road. The first reports described the crash as a single-vehicle rollover with an entrapped and injured driver inside. The first responding firefighter confirmed the vehicle, a Subaru, was on its side in a ditch.
Police closed the southbound lane of the road, at first, and then blocked both lanes. Officers also interviewed two witnesses at the scene while more firefighters arrived.

Around 8:30 p.m., firefighters reported the driver was not entrapped but needed to be extricated.
The driver, an elderly man, was evaluated and taken later to Concord Hospital.

Around 9:45 p.m., a wrecker was requested to remove the vehicle.
