Elderly New Hampshire Woman Dies In Northfield Rollover Crash On Interstate 93: NHSP

Troopers: Vaughan Stiles of Lisbon drifted off the high-speed lane of the southbound side of the highway and rolled her vehicle Thursday.

CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire State Police are asking anyone with dashcam footage while driving on Interstate 93 on Thursday after a driver died in a crash.

Around 3:15 p.m., troopers were sent to the southbound side of the highway near Mile Marker 52 in Northfield for two crashes near each other. Neither crash was connected to the other.

One of the crashes involved a woman whose vehicle drifted off the side of the highway and rolled multiple times. According to witnesses, Good Samaritans assisted at the scene, but the driver, Vaughan Stiles, 69, of Lisbon, had already died due to the injuries.

“There were no other vehicles or injuries reported as a result of this crash,” Amber Lagace, a public information officer for the state police, said.

The high-speed lane of the highway was closed for around two and a half hours during the investigation.

This crash, as well as its causing factors, remain under investigation, Lagace said.
