Elderly Pedestrian Struck On Concord’s North State Street Dies: Update
Breaking: Concord police investigators are asking for witnesses to come forward after a crash on Friday in the area of 340 N. State St.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police investigators are asking for the public’s assistance with a fatal crash on North State Street Friday.
Police were sent to the area of 340 N. State St. around 10:45 a.m. for a report of a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian. Police and fire and rescue teams offered medical assistance to the pedestrian, a 74-year-old woman. She sustained skull and hip fractures and died later.
The woman's name is not being released, Lt. Marc McGonagle of the criminal investigations division said.

“The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators,” he said. “The preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle was traveling south on North State Street, in the area of the Hood Plant, when the collision occurred.”
McGonagle said the investigation was still active.

Police requested witnesses or drivers with dashboard cameras that may have been active in the area to contact officers in the investigations division at 603-225-8600.
