Epsom Man Charged After Driving 108 MPH On I-93: NH State Police
Thomas Young was charged with aggravated driving under the influence and cocaine possession in Hooksett Thursday.

CONCORD, NH — A capital region man was arrested on aggravated driving under the influence and drug possession charges after New Hampshire State Police accused him of driving more than 100 miles per hour on I-93 Thursday morning. At just before 2:30 a.m., a state trooper was monitoring traffic in Hooksett "when his attention was drawn to a vehicle traveling northbound at a high rate of speed," according to Sgt. Vincent Grieco of Troop D. The trooper clocked the vehicle and alleged it was driving 108 mph in a 65 zone.
The vehicle was stopped and the trooper spoke to the driver, Thomas Young, 39, of Epsom, and later, arrested him on an aggravated DUI charge.
"(A) further investigation revealed that Young was in possession of a quantity of controlled drugs, suspected to be cocaine," Greico said, so that charge was added to his arrest.
