Fairy House Fun Comes to Kimball Jenkins Estate

June 14 event of family fun features tea party, fairy–themed auction, book signing, building fairy houses and story time with Tracy Kane.

The 1st Annual Kimball Jenkins Fairy House Fun with Tracy Kane kicks off rain or shine (we have a tent) on Sunday June 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to a press statement.

Admission is $10 per person. Children three and under are free.

Fairy Houses are small structures for the fairies and nature’s friends to visit. Sticks, bark, dry grasses, pebbles, shells, feathers, seaweed, pine cones and nuts are just some of the natural materials used. Fairy houses, which were once only found off the coast of Maine, have been popularized by Tracy Kane’s Fairy Houses Series of books and are now found across the country. Advanced tickets can be purchased online until June 13.
