LOUDON, NH — The family of a man who was a passenger in a Comcast contractor truck involved in a fatal collision last week on Route 106 in Loudon has started a fundraising effort to offset medical bills and support his family.

McIntyre Tintle was severely injured during the crash, with the truck sustaining the worst damage on its passenger side. She described the injuries as “life-changing.” The funds will be used to keep the family afloat since he cannot work, to make modifications to his home, to transportation since he cannot drive, and to continue his education. At the time of the crash, he was working and attending college classes through a work program to transfer to a physically less demanding job.

Alanah Tintle, his sister, started the effort. She said the future employment options feel “more important now than ever” since the injuries will probably keep him from returning to work.

This will bring unexpected challenges no family should have to face alone.”

A $25,000 goal has been set for the effort. Around $4,000 has been raised in less than a day.
