CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Fire Marshal’s Office has identified the man who died in a camper fire on Saturday morning.

Browall’s death has been determined to be “accidental,” the office said Monday. The investigation into the cause of the fire is “ongoing,” an official said.
Browall was due in Merrimack County Superior Court on Thursday for a status conference connected to several active cases as well as his conviction on five nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images charges from nearly seven years ago.

Back in November 2017, Browall was accused of possession of child sexual abuse images and dissemination of private sexual images after incidents in January, April, and August 2017 in Chichester. According to an Associated Press report, he posted online sexually explicit photos of two prior girlfriends without their permission or consent. Both girls were 16 at the time. His attorney said Browall was not thinking clearly and made a mistake, according to the report.
As part of a plea deal, the child sexual abuse image counts were dropped and Browall pleaded guilty to the dissemination counts. He received two 12-month sentences, served concurrently, with 119 days of time served credit and two years of probation in June 2018. Browall also received three two-to-six-year sentences, suspended for a decade, all served concurrently.
The Merrimack County Attorney’s Office requested a motion to impose the suspended sentences on Feb. 5, which was scheduled to be discussed on Thursday. Part of the agreement, J. Garrett Tynes, an assistant county attorney wrote, was for Browall to remain out of trouble during the 10 years.
During that time period, though, Browall was convicted of possessing and brandishing an 18-inch machete at motorists in Concord in November 2023. He received a 12-month sentence, suspended for three years, in April 2024. He was also convicted of driving under the influence in September 2019 in Candia District Court and operating after suspension in December 2023 in Concord District Court. Along with the convictions, Browall had several active drug possession charges out of Allenstown, Bow, and Concord between August 2024 and March, and a second felon charge for possession of a dangerous weapon, as well as drug possession and transport charges, after an incident in Concord in April 2024.
According to court records, Browall was involved in 22 different matters during the last nine years, including several domestic violence civil orders.
