Fisherville Road Apartment Gets Vandalized During Teen Party

Concord's Christopher Spataro will be arraigned on drug, alcohol charges later today.

An allegedly angry, unwanted teen, a damaged ceiling, a scratched vehicle with a cracked windshield, and destroyed Christmas decorations combined together are all the makings of a happening morning on Fisherville Road.

According to a Concord Police arrest report, officers were called to Fisherville Road for an unwanted guest at about 2 a.m. on Dec. 12. As they arrived, a man was seen leaving the area in a Ford Explorer.

Another officer approaching the scene saw the Explorer pull into the Fisherville Road Cumberland Farms, just south of the apartment, to get gas. The officer reportedly pulled up to the vehicle and began talking to the passenger, later identified as Christopher Spataro, 18, of Concord. The officer reported smelling alcohol on Spataro as he stepped out of the SUV for more questioning.

When asked how old he was, Spataro allegedly said 18.

During the discussion, the officer alleged that Spataro admitted to coming from a party at the apartment on Fisherville Road. The officer allegedly observed Spataro’s “knuckles that were all cut up and bloody.”

During a pat down of Spataro, an officer allegedly found a glass pipe in his left front pants pocket and a bag of marijuana in his right front pocket. Spataro was then taken into custody and charged with possession of controlled drugs, and unlawful possession of alcohol.

The driver of the Explorer was also questioned but cleared to leave the scene as Spataro continued to be questioned.

At the party scene, a Concord teenager alleged that Spataro was yelling at the scene and tried to kick a door in. An officer observed foot marks on the apartment door “from someone trying to kick the door open.” The witness also alleged that Spataro broke a wreath and garland that were hanging on the apartment door.

As the teenager watched Spataro eventually exit the building, she allegedly saw him near her vehicle in the parking lot. When an officer inspected the vehicle later, a 2000 Oldsmobile, he allegedly saw scratches on the hood and a cracked windshield. There was also “a fresh ceiling hole in the stairwell” that was found by police.

Another officer spoke with Spataro about the vandalism and later issued three counts of criminal mischief (vandalism).

Personal recognizance bail was set at $5,000 and he is due in court on Jan. 14.

Spataro was arrested back in October concerning alleged crimes at the apartment including criminal mischief (vandalism) and false imprisonment charges.
