Forecasters Issue Winter Weather Advisory For New Hampshire
Light to moderate snowfall, accumulations of up to 6-inches expected to impact Tuesday morning and evening commutes in southern, central NH.

GRAY, ME — The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for central and southern New Hampshire. Snow accumulations are not expected to be that large or heavy – about 3- to 6-inches. But it could cause some commuter issues in Tuesday morning and evening.
"A storm system crosses south of the area Tuesday into Tuesday night," according to the alert. "Light accumulating snow is likely throughout the day for the area, starting around dawn along the Massachusetts border. Light snow will spread through southern and central New Hampshire into southwest Maine through the late morning hours."
Most of the southern and central parts of the state are expected to receive up to 4-inches. However, areas from Bow and Dunbarton south to Amherst, Milford, and Wilton, as well as Exeter, Hampton, North Hampton, Portsmouth, and other communities in coastal Rockingham County are expected to receive up to 6-inches.

The light snow will continue into the evening commute and then begin to decrease in coverage and pull away to the east through the evening, the alert stated.
Effected areas including Merrimack, Hillsborough, and Rockingham counties and all Patch communities.

Plan on slippery road conditions with hazardous conditions impacting morning and evening commutes. Commuters should slow down and use caution while traveling, according to forecasters.
The storm is expected to begin at around 4 a.m. and last through 10 p.m.
