Fugitive NH Sex Offender Caught in NY

William Soltan has been on the lam since January, for allegedly failing to register; he was convicted of sexually assault in 2001.

CONCORD, NH - A sex offender who reportedly hadn’t registered with New Hampshire police for nearly five months about an address change was arrested in New York last week, according to U.S. Marshals.

William Soltan, 33, was arrested on May 6, 2016, in Shirley, NY, by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. Soltan was featured as a Fugitive of the Week last month after Manchester Police issued a warrant for his arrest in January.
