Here’s a rundown of events next month sponsored by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce:

Lunch & Learn: Asset Management
Thursday, Dec. 4, 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m., Chamber Conference Room. Presented by Primerica Financial Services. Free for Chamber and CYPN members, includes catered hot lunch. RSVP at concordnhchamber.com.

This presentation will educate and empower individuals to take action on their own financial strategy, reach their “Financial Independence Number” and to live a comfortable retirement. This is a great way to see where you are and how you can improve your knowledge to reach your financial goal. Holiday Business After Hours (for Chamber & CYPN members)
Tuesday, Dec. 9, 5:30 to 7 p.m., Grappone Conference Center, Concord. Chamber/CYPN members, free with a donation of non-perishable food items for the Capital Region Food Program’s Holiday Food Basket Project.

The Chamber of Commerce and the Capital Region Food Program (CRFP) have a long history together. For more than 40 years, CRFP’s mission has been to provide families in need special meals during the holiday season, and each year at the December Business After Hours, the Chamber waives its admission fee and asks Chamber & CYPN members to bring non-perishable food items as a donation to the Holiday Food Basket Project. Donations can be cans of soup, fruit, peanut butter, tuna, beans or vegetables - any non-perishables are gratefully accepted.CYPN members, please join us for this wonderful evening!

The event is free if you bring four (more is always better!) non-perishable food items. Please help our host prepare enough food for all and RSVP at your earliest convenience.

2015 Economic Forecast Breakfast
Thursday, Dec. 11, 7:30 to 9 a.m., Grappone Conference Center. Presented by Dennis Delay. $20 Chamber members, $30 Non-members, includes breakfast. RSVP at concordnhchamber.com

The breakfast forum is sponsored by Unitil and will focus on national economic trends and an outlook on the local, regional and national economy. The featured speaker is Dennis Delay of the New Hampshire Center for Public Policy Studies. Delay is the economist at the New Hampshire Center for Public Policy Studies. Mr. Delay is also the New Hampshire Forecast Manager for the New England Economic Partnership (NEEP), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing objective economic analyses and forecasts. Mr. Delay has a thirty-year record of success in economic development, policy analysis, forecasting, regional business expertise and public speaking and is a recognized expert on regional and national economics. Since 2006, Mr. Delay has also been an adjunct professor with New England College, teaching healthcare economics and managerial economics in the college’s graduate studies program and statistics in the college’s undergraduate studies program. Mr. Delay is a 1972 graduate of St. Anselm College, with a BA in economics, cum laude.
