Hazardous Weather Outlook Alert Issued for NH
Breaking: The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory tonight warning a slippery, icy commute on Tuesday morning.

The National Weather Service issued a “hazardous weather outlook” winter weather advisory tonight for tomorrow warning drivers of slippery roads during the morning commute, according to the alert. The advisory – issued at 10:29 p.m. on Nov. 28, 2016 – calls for a brief period of snow, sleet, and/or freezing rain, before 5 and 10 a.m., before the precipitations change to rain.
About a snow accumulation of up to 1 inch, with a trace of ice, is expected. Winds will be in the 5 to 10 mph range with 20 mph wind gusts, with temps in the 20s.

“Freezing rain will cause travel difficulties,” according to the alert. “Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.”

The alert covers most of the central and eastern part of the state.
