Concord police are investigating an incident involving a pickup truck that reportedly struck a hydrant, a minivan and then, fled the scene.
CONCORD, NH — Police are investigating a possible hit-and-run accident on Loudon Road Thursday.
According to dispatch, a pickup truck struck a fire hydrant on the northside of Loudon Road and then a Honda minivan right near the Loudon Road intersection with Branch Turnpike around 7:45 p.m. The damage to the hydrant caused it to leak water and one passenger in the minivan sustained a head injury. Concord fire and rescue teams were then sent to the crash.
The pickup truck, which reportedly lost its front license plate after crashing and fleeing, drove down Branch Turnpike, a witness told police dispatchers. A second witness reportedly followed the vehicle home to Cricket Lane, according to police.
