The reporting officer did not see Roz when he arrived at the library but saw him inside sitting at a computer station, according to the report. Roz was asked to leave the library for a private conversation and was arrested outside.
As he was transported to headquarters, the driving officer told the reporting officer that he “he had smelled a strong smell of marijuana in the vehicle” and “Roz admitted that he had marijuana in his pocket,” according to the report. Inside a pack of cigarettes, Roz allegedly had five baggies of marijuana.
Roz was processed without incident and released. He’s due in court on June 20.
A little more than three years ago, Roz was arrested on possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, and receiving stolen property charges after allegedly stealing items from a woman’s apartment at the Pitman Street building, according to a post on Patch.
