Police were sent to Laurel Street at around 11:15 p.m. on April 8, 2016, for a report of a “large fight” in front of a home where “a gun may have been displayed,” according to a report from Lt. Brian O’Keefe.

When officers arrived, they observed several men running away from the area. Two officers began to chase the men and captured Watson and Simms, O’Keefe noted. A third man – Brown – was reportedly sitting on the porch of the home.
“Brown appeared to be intoxicated and was only wearing one flip-flop while holding onto a backpack,” O’Keefe noted. “Brown’s clothing matched the description of the man allegedly waving a handgun during the altercation. A handgun was located in his backpack during a search incident to arrest.”
The second flip-flop was located between two homes on the street.
All three were released on personal recognizance bail and are due in Manchester District Court on May 13.
