Hooksett Police Continue To Investigate Triple Fatal Crash: Follow-Up

The driver and passengers of a Nissan Rogue, which collided with several vehicles before driving into a tree stump, died on Wednesday.

HOOKSETT, NH — Hooksett police are continuing to investigate a crash on Main Street near Route 3 that took the lives of three people on Wednesday.

Around 1:15 p.m., police were sent to a report of a crash involving four vehicles — a 2020 Nissan Rouge, a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee, a 2020 GMC Savana van, and a 2017 Toyota Camry.

A preliminary investigation revealed the Rogue was traveling north on Hooksett Road near Morse Drive when it side-swiped the Camry. The SUV continued north and then side-swiped the van at Hooksett and Main. The Rogue then veered left onto Main Street and rear-ended the Jeep.

The SUV then crossed the center line and collided with a large tree stump on the southbound shoulder of Main Street, police said.

The driver of the Rogue as well as two passengers, were taken to local hospitals and pronounced dead. The driver of the Jeep was taken to a hospital with apparent minor injuries, while the drivers of the other two vehicles were not injured.

Main Street and other roads were closed for several hours while the police crash reconstruction unit processed the scene. Police said Hooksett fire and rescue, Bow fire and rescue, Tri-Town, Concord EMTs, and AMR assisted along with the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.

Hooksett police did not release the names of the victims.
