BOW, NH — Police have arrested a man they believe was firing a handgun in Bow that led to a bullet being shot into a home on Golden View Drive Saturday. Around 11 p.m., gunshots were reported on Woodhill Road and Golden View Drive in Bow being fired from a vehicle. One of the bullets went through a house and lodged in a baseboard heating system.

The New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit as well as Bow and Dunbarton police officers worked the case and with the help of information provided by "concerned citizens," police arrested Cole Reinacher, 21, of Hopkinton Thursday on two counts of reckless conduct and a single count of criminal mischief, all felonies.

"Reinacher was a passenger in a vehicle with two other male occupants," police stated on Facebook. "Reinacher discharged several bullets from a handgun out of the window while the vehicle was driving on Woodhill Road in Bow."

One of those bullets entered the front door of a Golden View Drive home, police said.

"At this time, it is still believed the house was not specifically targeted and there is no threat to public safety," police said. "All three of the vehicle occupants have been cooperative during the investigation."
