Hospital Patient Allegedly Threatens to Cut Cabbie's Throat: Log

Concord Police: Hopkinton woman charged with shoplifting, Chichester man arrested for DWI, early morning nap in car leads to drug charges.

CONCORD, NH - John H. Tillotson, 74, of Main Street in Pembroke, was arrested at 8 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2016, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension, suspended registration, and a bench warrant after a traffic stop on Airport Road for a check that yielded a suspended license and bench warrant – nonappearance in court on a theft by unauthorized taking charge out of Concord District Court from Jan. 25, 2016 – for the owner. Tillotson lost his license on Jan. 26, 2016, for default court summons. He’s due in court on March 14.

Lindsay A. Norling, 37, of Briar Hill Road in Hopkinton, received a summons at 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 20, 2016, for theft by unauthorized taking for allegedly shoplifting $32.04 worth of candy, makeup, hair dye, and other items from Hannaford on Fort Eddy Road. She’s due in court on Feb. 29.

Matthew Whitcomb, 22, of Brookside Drive in Concord, was arrested at 12:14 a.m. on Jan. 10, 2016, for possession of drugs, possession of controlled drugs, and a bench warrant after a traffic stop on South Street near Monroe for a defective brake light. Whitcomb, according to dispatch, had an active warrant out of Hillsborough District Court from Jan. 8, 2016, for nonappearance on a driving after suspension or revocation charge and he was arrested. During a pat down, officers allegedly found marijuana in a baggie in his jacket pocket. He’s due in court on Feb. 22.

Robert G. Garland, 67, of Rundlett Street in Concord, was arrested at 5:57 p.m. on Dec. 28, 2015, on a conduct after an accident and unsafe backing charges after an incident on Dec. 23, 2015, at Rocky’s Hardware on Loudon Road. Garland was scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 8.

Cori Pelletier, 29, of Canterbury Road in Chichester, was arrested at 1:09 a.m. on Dec. 27, 2015, for driving while intoxicated and transportation of alcohol-open container after a traffic stop on Chapel Street. The sergeant that made the stop stated that Pelletier allegedly admitted to having six beers at Tandy’s Top Shelf earlier in the evening. Pelletier allegedly smelled like alcohol and had red glassy looking eyes, according to the report. After conducting a field sobriety test, he was arrested. An arraignment date was scheduled to be held on Jan. 11.

Ian R. Fortier, 37, of Garland Road in Barnstead, was arrested at 5 p.m. on Dec. 24, 2015, for disorderly conduct and a bench warrant. Officers were sent to Concord Hospital for a report of a man reportedly making threats against a taxicab driver. Fortier, according to the arrest report, had a warrant from Manchester District Court for disorderly conduct. He was found by police walking on Langley Parkway and was arrested. Hospital employees stated that Fortier was discharged but allegedly became “agitated about not having a ride home” and “irritated and verbally aggressive when they denied him a voucher for a taxicab,” according to the report. “When Ian was told that he would have to pay for a cab with his own money, he told them that he would ‘kill’ the taxi cab driver and ‘cut his throat,’” according to the officer’s report. “Ian then left the hospital in a rage.” Fortier reportedly told the officer that he was upset that he wasn’t being assisted and was using his cellphone to make travel arrangements. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 8.

Jason A. LeBlanc, 35, of Clarke Street in Concord, was arrested at 7:10 p.m. on Dec. 18, 2015, on two bench warrants after a traffic stop for expired temporary plate. The bench warrants were out of Laconia District Court on Nov. 24, 2015, and Concord District Court on Dec. 17, 2015, both for nonappearance.

Melanie J. Bousquet, 38, of Washington Street in Concord, was arrested at 3:56 a.m. on Dec. 15, 2015, for possession of drugs and possession of controlled drugs. A sergeant saw a vehicle stopped on North State Street with its motor running and ran a check on the vehicle and found it had a suspended registration. A driver was reportedly asleep inside the vehicle, according to the report. Bousquet reportedly stated she had been working previously and was taking a nap. The officer noticed that there allegedly was a metal grinder with marijuana on the center console. Bousquet allegedly denied knowing what it was or what it was for, according to the report. Later though, she allegedly admitted that it was hers and she was arrested.
