IMAGE: Red Sky at Night

Did you see the sky tonight?

If you missed it, it was truly magnificent.

At about 4:30 p.m., as the sun was setting over the western part of Concord, the entire sky started to turn a bright pink, red color. It lasted for about 15 minutes and then changed to darkness.

Of course, as the old adage goes, “red sky at night, sailor’s delight,” which was meant to predict a pleasant weather day the next day, due to any stormy weather already passing over the western side of the planet, according to lore.

The weather is expected to be mid-40s with sunny skies on Friday.
