Members of the public are invited to attend an interfaith service to mourn those lost at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC, and to pray for solidarity amongst all races, according to a press statement.
Interfaith Prayer Vigil for Peace and Racial Healing, South Congregational Church, 27 Pleasant St. in Concord, on Wednesday, June 24, at 7 p.m. All are welcomed. The Church is Open and Affirming and wheelchair accessible.
This service is a time for greater Concord to come together and grieve the nine victims murdered at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC. We will pray for the solidarity of races and with people everywhere who have been the victims of racial, religious or ethnic violence or hate crimes of any kind.

Organized by the Rev. Jed Rardin of South Congregational Church in Concord and in collaboration with the Greater Concord Interfaith Council, this service is one of many across the nation who are grieving for the nine people recently massacred at the historic AME Church in Charleston, SC, and who pray for peace, justice and understanding in the aftermath.
