Kuster Welcomes New Citizens at Naturalization Ceremony

81 new citizens from 42 counties became Americans on Aug. 21.

On Aug. 21, 2015, U.S. Rep. Ann McLane Kuster, D-NH, congratulated and welcomed new citizens at the naturalization ceremony held at the U.S. District Court House in Concord, according to a press statement.

Eighty one new citizens from 42 countries took the Oath of Allegiance and became U.S. citizens as family members and loved ones looked on. Kuster released the statement below regarding the ceremony:

“We live in the greatest nation on earth, and I am proud and honored to be given the opportunity to welcome America’s newest citizens to our country and to the Granite State. America remains the foremost land of hope and opportunity for all those who call it home, and today marks an exciting new chapter in the pursuit of the American Dream for many of the individuals who swore their allegiance to our nation this morning. I wish them all the very best on the journey ahead as United States citizens. “
