Live Music on the Lawn at Concord Public Library

Live Music on the Lawn returns to Concord Public Library for the third summer.

CONCORD – Live Music on the Lawn returns to the Concord Public Library for a third summer. The April Cushman Band, a leading new country group out of Southern NH is kicking off the series on Wednesday, June 28th at 6PM. The April Cushman Band was awarded the 2015 New Country Music Association’s Band of the Year in New and Traditional Music and the 2016 North American Country Music Association Int’l Most Promising Band of the Year. Concord’s own Laid to Dust is back by popular demand to perform on Wednesday, July 26th at 6PM. Last but not least, Miketon and the NightBlinders, a five piece band from NH who plays original folk/country/garbage/grass music will rock the final show of the series on Wednesday, 8/16 at 6PM.

As in previous years, Prince Street will be closed and concert goers will enjoy the performances from the library’s lawn. So, chairs and blankets are encouraged! Live Music on the Lawn is all about local; to go with the local music are well-loved area food vendors: Constantly Pizza, Poison Pete’s Hot Dogs, and for the hot summer nights – Kona Ice.

Live Music on the Lawn is a family friendly event. In the case of inclement weather, the bands will play in the Library’s newly renovated auditorium. For more information, visit the library’s website (www.concordpubliclibrary.net) and follow the library on Facebook (@ConcordPublicLibrary), Instagram (@ConcordNHLibrary), and Twitter (@ConcordNHLib).
