LOG: Hubby Sprays Wife with Beer, Gets Popped for Assault
The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.
Tyler M. Corey, 20, of Concord, was arrested at 1:38 a.m. on March 19, on a bench warrant. An officer conducting a “park and talk” at the McDonald’s Restaurant on Loudon Road “noticed someone slumped over one of the seats near the fireplace.” The officer asked the manager if the person was OK and the manager said she didn’t realize the person was on the couch. The officer went over to speak to the person and realized it was a couple sleeping on the couch. The officer asked for their IDs and it turned out that the man, Corey, had a bench warrant from Franklin District Court on an operating without a valid license violation, with $199 cash to settle. Corey was arrested and held without bail.
Heather Michael, 30, of Franklin, received a summons at 9:21 a.m. on March 19, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. While on East Side Drive, an officer clocked a vehicle going 46 mph in a 30 zone. The vehicle was stopped on East Side Drive near Loudon Road. A check of her license yielded a suspended license on Oct. 15, 2013. Michael reportedly stated that the issue was a ticket from Pennsylvania on a child restraint issue but she mailed in her fine. She was issued a summons and had a court date on April 21.
Patricia Tompkins, 31, of Allenstown, was arrested at 4:07 p.m. on March 19, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. Officers stopped Tompkins while driving a BMW with temporary plates on Gully Hill, after allegedly driving through a red light at the intersection of Fort Eddy Road and Loudon Road. A check of her privileges revealed that her license was suspended. She was arraigned on April 21.

Elliott Steven Dafoe, 30, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 4:26 p.m. on March 19, on a resisting arrest or detention charge. An officer was sent to the alleyway behind Endicott Furniture on Pleasant Street to check on the wellbeing of an intoxicated man who “was breathing but not moving,” according to the report. The officer found the man, Dafoe, sitting against the wall slouched over. The officer attempted to wake Dafoe up a number of times but was unable to. A sergeant and officer arrived to assist and eventually, Dafoe woke up. Dafoe was taken into protective custody but allegedly refused to allow himself to be cuffed, moving his body away from police and later, struggled with the officers. They were later able to cuff him and take him into custody. He was arraigned on April 21.
Gavin W. Bachman, 20, of Concord, was arrested at 6:53 p.m. on March 19, on a possession of controlled drugs charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident on Sept. 29, 2013, under the bridge near Basin Street. Bachman turned himself in to police and was arraigned on April 21.

Andrew S. Turgeon, 34, of Boscawen, was arrested at 7:37 p.m. on March 19, on a simple assault charge. According to an arrest report and court affidavit, police were called to High Street for a domestic disturbance between a husband and wife. The woman reported that Turgeon allegedly sprayed her with beer. The first officer on the scene saw the woman covered in liquid and the mess around the apartment, and went back to the cruiser to get a camera. As another officer arrived at the scene, so did Turgeon, who the officer recognized from previous contacts. “Turgeon was extremely angry and animated and he started to approach me and I told him to stop,” the officer alleged. “He put his arms up in the air and yelled, ‘I don’t have a gun.’” When told why they were there, Turgeon allegedly stated, “So I threw a beer on her … this is ridiculous.” Noting past experience with him, the officer took Turgeon into custody and he allegedly started screaming at the officer. The officer went to speak with the woman who stated they got into an argument about a relationship issue and it became a full screaming match. She alleged that Turgeon stated, “It’s a good thing I don’t hit b---hes” and then walked over to the refrigerator, grabbed a beer, shook it, and allegedly sprayed it on her. Turgeon was later arrested and held on $10,000 cash bail. He was arraigned on March 20.
Michael David Gruette, 36, of Concord, was arrested at 5 p.m. on March 20, on three felony counts of forgery and one count of receiving stolen property. The charges stem from alleged incidents in September and October 2013 at the Bank of New Hampshire, TD Bank, and Cimo’s South End Deli on South Street. Gruette turned himself in to police and was arraigned on April 21.
Jeremy F. Grandmaison, 30, of Concord, was arrested at 5:20 p.m. on March 20, on two bench warrants. Grandmaison turned himself in to police on the warrants. One was out of Concord District Court on March 18, for nonappearance in court on forgery charges, $1,500 cash to settle; the other was from the Merrimack Count Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s officer took custody of Grandmaison and he was arraigned on March 21.
Brandon S. Mancini, 23, of Chichester, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. on March 20, on attempt to commit credit card fraud and receiving stolen property charges. The charges stem from alleged incidents at the Comfort Inn on Hall Street on Nov. 12, 2013. Mancini turned himself in to police and was later handed to Manchester Police since they also had a warrant for his arrest. He was arraigned on the Concord charges on April 21.
Alexander Itachi Vincent-Smith, 23, of Concord, was arrested at 8:31 p.m. on March 20, on a bench warrant. The warrant was for a driving after suspension charge from March 14, with $585 cash to settle. Vincent-Smith paid the cash and was released.
Scott Crowley, 43, of Campton, was arrested at 10:20 p.m. on March 20, on a criminal trespass charge. Police were called to Tremont Street for an unwanted guest. A woman came into the station earlier in the day to report that Crowley and another man were in her apartment. She stated that they had come by earlier on their way to the bus station and had left. She then went to work while her son stayed home and took a nap. When he woke up, he saw one man asleep outside and Crowley allegedly passed out on a couch. The woman heard about the men at the apartment and reported it to police, requesting assistance having them removed. Officers arrived at the scene to only find Crowley allegedly at the home and unable to explain what he was doing there or who’s home it was. He was arrested and refused bail and was arraigned on March 31.
