Loudon Teen, Out on Bail, Arrested on Driving Charges

Headlights reportedly not illuminated on Loudon Road leads to traffic stop.

A teen from Loudon will be arraigned next week on multiple charges after being arrested last month on Loudon Road.

Taylor L. Wilkins, 17, of Loudon, was arrested at 7 p.m. on Jan. 15, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension, driving without giving proof, or default or breach of bail conditions.

According to a Concord Police report, an officer was traveling east on Loudon Road when he observed a car allegedly without its taillights on in front of him.

The officer ran Wilkins’ information through dispatch and found out that she was allegedly under suspension by the DMV on Dec. 27, 2012. Her financial responsibility was also suspended.

The officer also learned that Wilkins was out on bail from an assault charge on Jan. 5. Part of her bail conditions were “not to drive until defendant’s license or privilege is restored,” according to the officer.

Wilkins was then arrested and charged. She was also given a summons for failure to turn on taillights. She was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and has a court date on Feb. 11.

Four juveniles in the car were later released to their parents.
