According to an arrest report and court affidavit, a woman met with police at just before 11 a.m. on June 18, 2015, about an assault incident earlier in the morning.

The woman alleged that she was sleeping in her minivan in the parking lot of the Market Basket on Storrs Street when Kibbee reportedly began banging on her vehicle window at around 2:30 a.m. The woman stated that she was in the process of breaking up with Kibbee but “against her better judgment, opened the door and let him in,” according to the report. The pair had what she described as a brief conversation and the Kibbee allegedly struck her in the knees. The woman fell to the floor of the vehicle in pain and he allegedly started punching her in the face with a closed fist, according to the report. She alleged she was punched at least four times and the officer noted the injuries to her lip, mouth, and nose.

The victim alleged that for the next two hours, Kibbee “had her pinned in the fetal position with her knees up to her chest” on the floor of the vehicle while she was screaming at him to get out of the van. He allegedly refused to leave and she kept trying to push him off.

“(The woman) said Kibbee became more and more enraged and leaned over her and clenched his fists in a motion that he was going to hit her,” the report stated. “(The victim) said he would then make her beg to him so he wouldn’t hit her.”

The victim stated that she felt so threatened that she would do or say anything so he wouldn’t hit her. He also allegedly threatened to “re-arrange her face” if she called police.

Eventually, she alleged, Kibbee began to mellow out. She wasn’t sure of the exact time. The victim noted that Kibbee reportedly had an accident in his pants and needed to use the bathroom so she agreed to drive him to the McDonald’s Restaurant on South Main Street, dropped him off, and left the area.

The officer filed the affidavit later that day.

Nearly three months later, another officer saw a man that looked like Kibbee riding a bicycle on Airport Road near Old Suncook Road after being called to Manchester Street for a report that he might be walking in the area. The officer stopped and asked the man if he was Mark Kibbee. The man reportedly stated, “No,” gave a different name, and then continued to ride his bike. The officer got out of the cruiser and requested his ID but the man reportedly stated he didn’t have one.

The man asked if he was being arrested or detained and the officer ordered him to stay put while he checked a booking photo. The booking photo of Kibbee reportedly matched the man, with the officer noting that his “crooked nose and facial hair” was the same as the mugshot. Kibbee reportedly admitted that he knew he had a warrant and dispatch stated that he also had a contempt capias out of Merrimack County for $1,000 in unpaid child support.

Kibbee was arrested, refused bail, and was held.

According to online reports, Kibbee has an extensive criminal history.
