Man Arrested for Illegally Trying to Obtain a NH License
Luis Lozano of Lawrence, MA, was also wanted on a sale of cocaine charge in the Bay State, was arrested in Concord by NHSP yesterday.

A Massachusetts man was arrested on charges at the Concord DMV for allegedly attempting to fraudulently obtain a New Hampshire driver’s license.
Luis Lozano, 36, of Lawrence, MA, was arrested on Nov. 2, 2015, and charged with tampering with public records, unsworn falsification, and being a fugitive from justice.

According to New Hampshire State Police, investigators were alerted by the staff at the NH DMV office in Concord at just before 1 p.m. that a man might be trying to obtain a false license.
Troop G troopers went to the DMV and investigated the claim. They later found out that the man was actually Lozano, a man currently living in Massachusetts, was possibly an illegal alien, and had an outstanding drug dealing charge against him.

“Troopers were able to confirm that the documents that Lozano had provided were fraudulent,” according to Sgt. Andrew Player of the NHSP. “With the cooperation of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, officers were ultimately able to determine Lozano’s true identify. Furthermore, it was discovered that Lozano had an outstanding warrant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for sales of cocaine.”
Lozano was arrested and refused bail. He was held at the Merrimack County House of Corrections and was arraigned this morning.
