Man Arrested on I-93 After Allegedly Assaulting Girlfriend
Ronald Versfelt, 39, of Hooksett was arrested in Bow.

A Hooksett man is scheduled to be arraigned Friday morning in Concord District Court on charges that he assaulted his girlfriend while they were driving in her vehicle.
Around 9:30 a.m. Thursday, New Hampshire State Police investigated a domestic disturbance at the Interstate 93 northbound rest area in Hooksett. State police said their investigation determined that Ronald Versfelt, 39, of Hooksett had assaulted his girlfriend as the two drove in the girlfriend's vehicle on Route 3A. Witnesses said Versfelt attempted to prevent the girlfriend from exiting her vehicle after it pulled into the rest area, but she was able to get to the rest area and call police.
According to witnesses, Versfelt then attempted to hide in the truck of his girlfriend's vehicle while she was inside the rest area calling for help, before fleeing the area on foot.
