Man Killed After Crash In Danbury: New Hampshire State Police

Kevin Ramsey was killed after a crash on Eastern District Road Monday. A passenger in the vehicle, who was wearing her seatbelt, survived.

DANBURY, NH — A New Hampshire man lost his life in a crash in Danbury on Monday, according to state police.

Kevin Ramsey, 43, of Bristol was driving north on Eastern District Road when the vehicle he was driving veered off the road, crossed back into the road, and then, hit a guardrail and trees. Ramsey, who was not wearing a seatbelt, according to Lt. Chad Lavoie of Troop D, was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead, due to his injuries, by Danbury Fire and Rescue.

A 36-year-old woman from Bristol, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was wearing a seatbelt and survived the crash. She was taken to Franklin Hospital with minor injuries.

Lavoie said state troopers were assisted by Bristol and Danbury police and Bristol and Danbury firefighters. The road was closed for a short time, he said.

State police did not report why the vehicle left the roadway and crashed.
