Manchester Armed Robbery Suspect Captured In Concord: Watch
Update: Cops, deputies, and New Hampshire State troopers were involved in a multi-community chase that ended near Airport Road Saturday.

CONCORD, NH — An armed robbery suspect out of Manchester was captured in Concord after a multi-community chase Saturday.
Around 12:30 p.m., Concord police were informed by county sheriffs about a chase on Route 3 through Pembroke, possibly heading into the capital city. The chase involved an armed robbery suspect from Manchester. Dispatch told officers in the field about the chase, for awareness, as they do with officer safety and other calls.
A Concord officer headed to Manchester Street to be available in case the pursuing officers were in need of assistance. Manchester and Pembroke police, sheriffs deputies, and New Hampshire State Police were all involved in the chase before entering Concord.

The suspect was described as heavyset with a handgun in a silver Hyundai Sonata. A man was reportedly driving the car and a woman was a passenger and had blue or purple tinted hair, according to reports.

The vehicle was tracked on Route 3, past Route 106, to Manchester Street, and then onto Airport Road. The vehicle then pulled into Minuteman Way at the entrance of the National Guard base.
Concord firefighters staged for police while other officers arrived to assist.
Officers told dispatch the man driving the Hyundai quickly surrendered to Manchester police but the passenger was refusing to exit the vehicle. She was accused of holding a knife to her arm while screaming at officers. A firearm was seen by officers in the backseat of the Sonata, according to police.
The woman exited the vehicle and became embroiled with police in a short standoff. Police got her under control after one officer shot her with beanbags and another Tased her, an officer told dispatch.
Video submitted by John Miller, who was driving on Regional Drive at the time of the incident, caught some of the interaction with police. Officers can be heard yelling, "Drop the knife," while the woman was screaming and a K-9 unit barking.
Fire and rescue teams were sent in to assist and the woman was taken to Concord Hospital later. Sheriffs transported the man back to Manchester.
