Marshals Search For Man Allegedly Involved In Hit-And-Run Crash
Nicholas Lapanne was arrested last year after a crash in Rochester. He's been out on bail but now officials are trying to find him.

CONCORD, NH — The District of New Hampshire-New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is searching for man from the eastern part of the state who was reportedly involved in a hit-and-run incident last year. Nicholas Lapanne, 44, is wanted for a bail violation by the Strafford County Sheriff’s Office. A warrant for his arrest for the alleged violation was issued on Nov. 27, 2017, according to Deputy Marshal Brandon Wilson of the U.S. Marshals Service.

“Lapanne is currently on bail for a pending reckless conduct charge,” he noted in an alert. “Lapanne has a history of assaultive behavior (and) has ties to the Farmington and Dover areas.”

Lapanne is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs around 160 lbs., and has brown hair and eyes. He has a discolored left cheek/red birthmark as well as tattoos on his chest, left arm, left forearm, right shoulder, and right forearm.
According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, Lapanne was arrested on Oct. 19, 2016, on aggravated driving while intoxicated, criminal mischief, reckless conduct, conduct after an accident, disobeying an officer, and lane-control violation charges. The charges were due to an alleged drunk driving crash on Oct. 7, near Spaulding High School in Rochester.

Back in July 2010, according to the Reformer, Lapanne was arrested in Brattleboro, VT, for two counts of aggravated assault with a weapon and reckless endangerment after an alleged incident at a local hotel. He allegedly pointing a handgun at a victim, cut the victim with a knife, and punched the victim in the head several times.
