Massachusetts Residents Injured In Hooksett Rollover
New Hampshire State Police are investigating why a Subaru Forester crashed on Interstate 293, injuring two Lowell residents on Saturday.

HOOKSETT, NH — New Hampshire State Police are asking to speak to witnesses after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 293 in Hooksett on Saturday.
Around 3 p.m., troopers were sent to a report of a rollover on the southbound side of the highway. When they arrived, they found a 2003 Subaru Forester on its roof with a driver and passenger, both from Lowell, Massachusetts, seriously injured. Witnesses, according to Lt. Bryan Trask of Troop B, said the vehicle was traveling south in the left lane when it began to drift towards the center median.
"The operator then appeared to overcorrect to the right at which time the vehicle rolled several times before coming to rest on its roof in the wood line off the right side of the highway," he said. "When troopers arrived, several bystanders, to include an off-duty NH trooper and an off-duty Amherst firefighter, were on scene attempting to render aid to the driver and passenger, both of whom were trapped in the vehicle."
