“Due to the vast area the individual had entered,” Sgt. Kevin Bronson of NH Fish & Game said, “Webster Police, Webster Fire Department, Concord Fire Department, and Salisbury Fire Department, along with conservation officers with the fish and game department, responded to search for the missing individual.”

ATVs were used to search the trail systems in the area. At just before 10 p.m., a conservation officer made voice contact with the lost person and had a rough idea where they were, across from a large swamp, he said. A nearby resident heard the yelling, found the person, and stayed with them until rescue crews arrived, Bronson said.
