Minimum Security Inmate Missing from Concord Transitional Housing Unit
New Hampshire State Police, corrections officials are looking for Stephen Roy who has been missing since July 3.

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections and state police are looking for a walkaway from the Corrections Transitional Work Center in Concord, according to a press alert.
On July 3, 2015, according to officials, minimum security inmate Stephen Paul Roy, 27, last known address of Dover, was reported missing from the center.
“Corrections officers conducted their regular inmate count at about 5:50 p.m. and he was not in his room,“ according to Jeffrey Lyons, the public information officer for the Department of Corrections. “He was last seen about 5 p.m. that afternoon. The unit was locked down and a thorough search was conducted and he was placed on escape status at about 6:20 p.m. that night.”

Roy is white, 5-feet, 6-inches tall, weighing 150 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes. He has tattoos on his chest, neck, left and right arms.
Roy was sentenced in Strafford County Superior Court for robbery and received a three- to 10-year prison sentence with 294 days of time served credited to his sentence. He was admitted to the N.H. State Prison on Nov. 5, 2013, and is eligible for parole on Jan. 14, 2016, according to the alert. His maximum release date is Jan. 16, 2023.

NH State Police and the New Department of Corrections Investigations Bureau is investigating.
