Motorcycle Riders Suffer 'Life-Threatening Injuries' After Route 106 Crash

NHSP are investigating Sunday's crash near the Cascade Campground in Loudon; Concord Police, EMTs assist at the scene.

LOUDON, NH – Two New Hampshire motorcyclists remain hospitalized after a crash yesterday morning on Route 106 in Loudon, according to a press statement.

At just after 11 a.m. on June 12, 2016, Loudon Police were sent to a motor vehicle accident between a motorcycle and a Kia Sorento near the Cascade Campground, according to a report. When police and first responders arrived, they found a man in his early 50s from Freedom, and a woman in her late 40s from Fremont, who had been riding a 2002 Harley-Davidson, injured after a collision with the Sorento. The Sorento cut into the path of the motorcycle "for unknown reasons at this time," according to Bryan Plamondon of the NHSP.

The pair suffered “life-threatening injuries and were transported to area hospitals,” he noted, adding that they are still being cared for at post time.
