Multiple Vehicles Burn On Loudon Road; Concord Police Investigating

Concord firefighters extinguished several vehicles that were burning late Friday night at the Meineke Auto Care lot on Loudon Road.

CONCORD, NH — Concord fire and rescue teams, as well as police, were sent to a Loudon Road auto shop after several vehicles caught on fire on Friday night.

Around 11:45 p.m., Capital Region Fire Dispatch began receiving calls about a motor vehicle fire at Meineke Auto Care on Loudon Road. At first, only one car was believed to be on fire. A few minutes later, dispatch told firefighters heading to the scene that several vehicles were on fire behind the shop.

When firefighters arrived, the commander said one vehicle was fully involved while two others were partially involved. The fire department also requested Concord police to the scene to assist with the case.

An officer arrived and began running the plates of the vehicles while firefighters continued cleaning up the scene. None of the vehicles were Teslas.

Around 12:15 a.m., the fires were under control and the assigned officer requested dispatch hunt down the shop’s owner to come to the scene, according to scanner chatter.
